ANILA

I was born in Kathmandu, Nepal, where massage is an integral part of the daily routine from infancy.  Traditionally, newborns are massaged by their mothers with sunflower, sesame, safflower, and mustard oil. The massages are usually administered outside in the sun. It is believed that the benefits include improved skin condition, improved flexibility, thermoregulation, and mother-child bonding.

After coming to the United States I studied massage therapy at the American Massage and Bodywork Institute in Virginia.  I relocated to Fort Myers, Florida in 2017 and absolutely love it here! I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) as well as the American Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP). I take my education very seriously and strive to keep abreast of new therapies and innovations in the field of massage.  To that end, I take several courses a year in areas such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, TMJ disorder, Planter Facilities, Fibromyalgia, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Complete Decongestive Therapy , adhesive capsulitis (Frozen Shoulder), etc.

I specialize include Post-OP Lymphatic Drainage for LiposuctionTummy Tucks, Mommy makeover & Face Lift Surgeries.

I really care about my clients and pride myself on my ability to help relieve their stress and alleviate or reduce any pain that may afflict them. I also feel very strongly about tailoring my massage therapy sessions to address the needs and desires of my clients. There is nothing worse than going to get a massage for lower back pain and having the therapist spend the majority of time working on the arms and hands.  I appreciate your feedback and encourage you to write a review of our time spent together.

My massage studio is located at 12734 Kenwood Lane, Suite 31, Fort Myers, FL 33907.  There is plenty of parking and it is very accessible to anyone using a wheelchair.  When you schedule your first massage appointment with me I will ask that you fill out a brief intake form so that I will be apprised of any medical conditions that affect you, and we can proceed accordingly. My massage room is cozy and it is decorated with traditional Nepali art and artifacts providing a quiet place to escape the stress of everyday life.

Please contact me at to schedule your first appointment and we will work together to get you the results that you require and deserve. If you are unable to come to my office or simply prefer to receive your massage at home or vacation property due to medical condition, I will gladly come to you depends on my schedule .  There is an extra charge for commuting time but I try to keep my prices reasonable.  Please read about the different Types of Massage so that we can fashion a massage plan that fits you. If you have any questions please view my Frequently Asked Questions page and if I can be of further assistance call or email me.
