AROMA-THERAPY
Aromatherapy can be defined as the art and science of utilizing naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit. It seeks to unify physiological, psychological and spiritual processes to enhance an individual’s innate healing process
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Deep tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Deep tissue massage is applied to both the superficial and deep layers of muscles, fascia, and other structures.
HOT STONE MASSAGE
Once the stones have heated sufficiently, some are placed onto specific points on the body (such as the back, hands, etc.) and others are held by the massage therapist and used to work the muscles. Certain styles of stone massage also incorporate chilled stones into the routine.
INFANT MASSAGE
Infant massage is a type of complementary and alternative treatment that uses massage therapy for infants. This therapy has been practiced globally, and has been increasingly used in Western countries as a treatment for infants, though the scientific evidence supporting its use is growing.
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
Manual lymphatic drainage is a type of massage which encourages the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.
PREGNANCY MASSAGE
Pregnancy massage reduces stress, decrease swelling in the arms and legs, and relieve aches and pains in muscles and joints. With not being able to take pain medications, pregnancy massage helps alleviate the pain.
PHYSIO-THERAPY
Physiotherapy can be defined as a treatment method that focuses on the science of movement and helps people to restore, maintain and maximize their physical strength, function, motion and overall well-being by addressing physical issues.
SWEDISH MASSAGE
Swedish massage involves the use of hands, forearms or elbows to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve mental and physical health. Active or passive movement of the joints may also be part of the massage.
GERIATRIC MASSAGE
The goal of a geriatric massage session is usually to help the client relax, and to increase flexibility and ease joint pain. The massage tends to be very light and gentle, and the massage therapist or nurse stays very attuned to signs that the client might be experiencing discomfort
